Mura is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas Kolesch as Global Feedstock Director.
Nicholas is a proven leader in the sustainable advancement of the chemicals and plastic industry, building from a 25+ year career in commercial leadership roles spanning several countries in Europe and Asia. As Global Feedstock Director at Mura Technology Asia, Nicholas will oversee the development of sourcing networks for Recovered Plastic Feedstock for Mura’s Hydro-PRT advanced recycling facilities. In addition, he is Founder and Director at NK Circular Economy Consulting, a Singapore based firm helping clients navigate the circular economy for plastics.
Until late 2024, Nicholas was the inaugural Vice President of Projects at the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a non-profit organisation established by leading companies in the plastics value chain. During his leadership of the Alliance’s project activities, he pioneered the advancement of a portfolio of circular solutions to improve plastic waste collection, sorting, and valorisation through recycling.
Nicholas has also held several commercial leadership roles in the Borealis Group, with a focus on packaging and automotive. After completing his MBA at the University of British Columbia, Nicholas started his career with Ciba Specialty Chemicals in Switzerland, holding leadership roles in sales, marketing, and business development serving multiple market sectors.
